Dueling Etiquette
Playing a physical match is highly social. Abiding by simple sportsman guidelines ensures a smooth, fun experience for both players:
Announce Actions: Clearly declare your card placements, resource attachments, and actions (e.g., spells cast, attacks declared, or target designations). State your values or phase changes explicitly.
Offer Cuts: After searching or shuffling your deck due to any card effect or game mechanic, shuffle thoroughly and present your deck to your opponent to cut or shuffle.
Organize Board State: Maintain an orderly play area. Keep your deck, graveyard/discard pile, resource zone, and active board state visually distinct and easy to read.
Sportspersonship: Begin each match by shaking hands and introducing yourself. End the duel/match with a handshake and a friendly 'Good game!'.
